for example, if I feel angry at work, could it be that I'm just being treated unfairly?

You may like to ask your colleagues also feel burnout.

Some do, but they seem to be mostly distracting themselves with other things, like hobbies outside of work. The feeling is just of "putting in time" at work, and waiting til it's time to go home.

A pretty significant feature is always having the angry feeling even when you feel other emotions, like sadness or happiness. It is like this anger doesn’t go away.

What about feeling unmotivated to do tasks you used to like, for example if you feel the boss doesn't really value your efforts, so why bother. That's more like feeling just "numb", though thinking it over later can cause resentment..

If you’re feeling numb, it is your adaptation strategy. You have reached a saturation point of discomfort and you have ‘switched off’. To turn yourself on again, you have to ask yourself, what do I want to feel?

Once you have decided on what you want to feel, you set a goal and a plan to match.
